Kindness, Strangers, Cruelty Around the World

You hear stories about teens committing suicides and huge chances are, they're bullied in school. Adults probably will never be able to understand the turmoil and the pain of going through something as cruel as that simply because they're not in the shoes of the bully victims. So, me writing about this, maybe you think I'm the same, that I know nothing about this but I know how it feels, for people who know nothing about you, to call you the most cruel names you can ever imagined, people who you barely know teased you because some stupid rumors in school. But I do. And I'm over it.

In life, you’ll meet people who hurt you, whether they’re friends or family. I hope you'll find it in you to forgive them. :) You'll also meet people who you know or strangers who show you kindness.

But no matter how much kindness you are given, it's useless if you cannot accept it. Some people went through too many things that made them sad and hurt that it disabled them from trusting people. They may think that it's a cruel world we're living in, that everything is hopeless but to me, it's not always like that. I won't deny that. But even when there's cruelty in this world, I believe there's also kindness in everyone's heart. Just like in this world, there's light but there's also darkness.
Like two things that coexist together.

Anyway, I have a story I wanna write down, so that I won't forget about it.

A couple of days ago, I had 10 hours of waiting for my flight to Tawau after reaching LCCT from Jogja. I got bored of sitting in McD and Starbucks cafe and I need a power plug to charge my dying phone and there isn't any power plug available in sight. I had no idea how many times I walked around the check in counter area to look for power plug. :( Finally got one and there's this cute guy who was charging his tab on an power extension and there's an empty spot and available power plug on that extension. Tunggu apa lagi. My phone was dying, okay? So I just sat next to him and somehow we just started talking.
*story cut short*
He went to get himself a coffee and just bought me a bottle of cola. But being the extra careful me and  I was travelling alone and I'm afraid that he puts something in there, so I didn't drink it, I just put it into my bag and say thanks. :)
Maybe that hurt his feelings, I truly am sorry.
I brought that bottle of Cola home and my nanny drank it. Haha. Nothing happened. :)
That guy was just being nice. Now I feel bad. Haha.

The value-expensive Cola and my toes (haha)

The thing is, I think the inhumanity of the people in this world has made us unable to be trust. Kindness is there, but you may miss it. :(
But can you really blame yourself for being like that?
I can't and I won't.

Hope you have a good day.
Even when it's hard, be kind. :)

"Three things in human life are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind.
