Exam is over baby! *tears of joy*
The last 2 weeks have been stressful, tiring and sleepless. My dark circles.*tears* I feel like I look like a panda. See.. heesh dark circles.. (T.T)
Speaking of a panda, hehehe.
Come to think of it, my dark circles actually make my eyes look bigger. LOL.
And I actually like pandas because they're so cute that I feel like doing this.. *see the pic below*
Hehehe XD
Poor panda. :(
Okay back to the story.
Semester 2 had been great, I think. Never thought I survived but I guess you only know your own strength when you're forced to be strong.
Classes were long, lab sessions were fun but not all of them, anatomy was hard and very stressful. The rest was okay, I think. I had 4 lab sessions for semester 2 which was quite heavy but we all managed to get by. :) *clap clap*
Stuff I did during semester 2:
*ready, get set, go!*
1) I eat a lot
Yeap, being a foodie that I am, I just love eating. Trying out new food was quite fun too. I mostly cooked my own meals because I think it's healthier. The food they have here especially in restaurant has MSG in it. Hmm. I'm not a fan of MSG. Often, eating out makes me wanna gulp down 1 litre of water because of the taste of MSG. Overall, the food in Jogja is cheap. Groceries are cheap too, I love that so much.
*Beware. Foodporn posts*
Food I cooked
If you notice, I normally eat brown rice. :) I love brown rice. But I eat white rice too. I don't mind. I just love brown rice because it is healthier. :)
Chicken and mushroom with oyster sauce
I cooked curry a lot. :) I put tofu in. Haha. Whatever. Can eat then good enough. :)
I'm more intp eating homemade food than eating out. But at times, I'm too busy and too tired for that so I eat out too. And I enjoy eating out too. Hehe
Restaurant/cafe/ warung food
Asian parsley. Not bad for me. :)
Ayam kerabu and salad buah at Kedai Nyonya, somewhere in Malioboro. Love the ambience of that restaurant. :) Food was okay.
Yeap, my favorite in Dixie Restaurant in Gejayan. :) #addicted
Pork satay haha. Hardly get to eat pork in Jogja, sadly. So if you're coming here, go have pork eating spree before coming here. Haha. :)
Ice-creams at Mary Anne. :) Love that place.
For more updates bout food, can check out my instagram :)
2) I got to know my friends better
We all need friends. Good friends do make life better. We hang out more often for makan session. Hehe. I blame the stress for that. :)
3) I studied more than I did during first sem
Haha. More subjects, more labs, more pretests to study for, so yeeahhh...
4)I ride bike
If I never come to Indonesia, I will never learn how to ride bike. It was hard and I fell down a lot. I've gone through accidents twice. Yup, it was nothing major. Just that my finger has scars now. *so ugly* But hey at least I still have fingers right? Hehe. #grateful
In conclusion, sem2 was fine. Not gonna complain about all the stuff that went wrong too. :) I'm glad that it was done. There'll be more to come. I can't say I will miss my sem 2. School, you're not missed. *enjoying holiday aka sleeping sprees * hahaha
Till then, toodles. :)
